Julie J. (Potter) Gorman, 59, of Franklin, died suddenly from an unsuspected medical condition on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. She was the loving mother of Joseph Gorman of Bellingham.

Born in Akron, Ohio on June 3, 1963, she was the daughter of Bill Potter of Union, Kentucky and the late Shirley (Snyder) Potter.

Julie was a resident of Franklin for most of her life and graduated from Franklin High School in 1981.

She was an active member of the Franklin Federated Church and served as the Choir Director for quite some time as well.

Julie loved music and was a talented singer and pianist. She was a fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins and was also an avid lover dogs.

In addition to her son and father, she is survived by her sister Lori Potter of North Attleboro, two brothers, Steven Potter of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Martin Potter of Franklin, and many nieces and nephews.

Julie’s memorial service will be held at the Franklin Federated Church, 171 Main Street in Franklin at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Julie’s memory to the Franklin Federated Church, 171 Main St., Franklin, MA 02038.
