Here is a list of the notable events from the past week
Note: Some incidents may have been omitted to preserve victims of certain crimes and ongoing investigations. Some addresses may not be specified but instead referred to by their street name. All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

3/12/2023
Suspicious Activity
Summer Street
On Sunday, 3/12/2023 at approximately 2:46 pm Officers responded to a residence on Summer Street for a report of suspicious activity. It was reported the residence had been vacant for some time and it appeared someone may have entered the residence. Officers determined the matter was a civil issue.

Motor Vehicle Crash
936 Pond Street
On Sunday, 3/12/2023 at approximately 7:20 pm Officers responded to the area of 936 Pond Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. After an investigation it was determined an individual was crossing the street on Pond Street when they were struck by a car mirror. An investigation was opened, and the individual was transported to the hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries.


Stolen Motor Vehicle

Union Street
On Sunday, 3/12/2023 at approximately 7:48 pm Officers responded to a residence on
nion Street for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. Officers spoke with the victim, but they never wished to report their vehicle as stolen.

3/13/2023
Harassment
Main Street
On Monday, 3/13/2023 at approximately 11:49 am an Officer took a report of harassment from a resident of Main Street. The victim reported receiving multiple phone calls a day from what are believed to be scammers through phishing phone numbers. An investigation was opened.

Lost Property
Franklin Village Drive Panera
On Monday, 3/13/2023 at approximately 2:49 pm an Officer took a report from an individual who lost their purse at Panera this past January. The individual just went to go pick the purse up and it was not there. Officers assisted the individual with their options moving forward.

Vandalism
Pearl Street
On Monday, 3/13/2023 at approximately 7:08 pm Officers responded to a residence on Pearl Street for a report that an Amazon delivery driver backed into their rock wall causing damage and drove away. An investigation was opened.

Motor Vehicle Crash
1376 West Central Street
On Monday, 3/13/2023 at approximately 11:07 pm Officers responded 1376 West Central Street for a single motor vehicle crash. A tractor trailer truck struck a wooden fence in the parking lot and had a wooden railroad tie caught in its axle. A crash report was completed.

3/14/2023
Fraud
Franklin Village Mall
On Tuesday, 3/14/2023 at approximately 8:22 am Officers responded to a business in the Franklin Village Mall for a report of check fraud. The company discovered fraudulent checks made out to unknown parties. An investigation was opened.

Civil Dispute/Trespass
East Central Street
On Tuesday, 3/14/2023 at approximately 3:12 pm Officers responded to a business on East Central Street to assist with a civil landlord dispute. The landlord identified an unwanted person on their property. Officers spoke with the individual and trespassed them from the property.

3/15/2023
Fraud
Saxon Street
On Wednesday, 3/15/2023 at approximately 9:53 am an Officer took a report from a resident of Saxon Street regarding fraud. The victim reported their checking account was tampered with and $6,000 was withdrawn from the account. An investigation was opened.

3/16/2023
Motor Vehicle Crash
West Central Street @ Grove Street
On Thursday, 3/16/2023 at approximately 7:50 am Officers responded to the area of West Central Street and Grove Street for a two-car crash. Both vehicles were towed, and two parties were transported to the hospital with injuries. A crash report was completed.

Motor Vehicle Violation
300 Union Street
On Thursday, 3/16/2023 at approximately 11:57 am an Officer observed a motor vehicle violation on Union Street and stopped the vehicle. After an investigation, the owner of the vehicle, a 37-year-old Attleboro resident was charged with:
-Allowing operation of an unregistered motor vehicle
-Allowing operation of an unregistered motor vehicle

Fraud
Grove Street
On Thursday, 3/16/2023 at approximately 12:00 pm an Officer responded to a business on Grove Street for a report of fraud. A representative from the business reported two fraudulent orders totaling almost $17,000 were made. An investigation was opened.

3/17/2023
Motor Vehicle Violation/Arrest
461 West Central Street
On Friday, 3/17/2023 at approximately 1:38 am an Officer observed a motor vehicle violation on West Central Street and stopped the vehicle. After an investigation the operator of the vehicle, Ella Moscatelli, a 19-year-old Uxbridge resident was arrested and charged with:
-OUI Liquor
-Open Container
-Failure to Stop/Yield

Larceny
175 East Central Street Franklin Ford
On Friday, 3/17/2023 at approximately 12:00 pm Officers responded to Franklin Ford for a report of a past larceny. Hub caps were stolen off trucks in the parking lot. An investigation was opened.

Larceny
45 Forge Hill Road YMCA
On Friday, 3/17/2023 at approximately 1:24 pm Officers responded to the YMCA for a report of a larceny. It was reported $200 was stolen out of the victim’s wallet in the locker room unattended. An investigation was opened.

Section 35 Service
Franklin
On Friday, 3/17/2023 at approximately 2:05 pm Officers responded to a business in Franklin to serve a Section 35 issued by the Wrentham District Court. The individual was located and transported to Court.

Motor Vehicle Crash
Charles River Drive @ Norumbega Circle
On Friday, 3/17/2023 at approximately 4:04 pm Officers responded to Charles River Drive at Norumbega Circle for a two-car crash. There were no reported injuries, and a crash investigation was completed.

3/18/2023
Motor Vehicle Crash
855 Washington Street
On Saturday, 3/18/2023 at approximately 12:28 am Officers responded to 855 Washington Street for a two-car crash involving a telephone pole. The telephone pole was laying across the road. There were no reported injuries, and the road was closed while National Grid replaced the pole.

Fraud
Old West Central Street
On Saturday, 3/18/2023 at approximately 12:10 pm an Officer took a report from a resident of Old West Central Street regarding fraud. Fraudulent purchases were made using the victim’s Mastercard information. An investigation was opened.
