Amendment LEGAL NOTICE FRANKLIN BOARD OF HEALTH PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Franklin Board of Health will hold both a remote public hearing via google hangouts and in-person at the Town Hall Training Room: 3 rd Floor. on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 5:00p.m. The hearing will discuss implementation of an amendment to the Tobacco Products and Smoking regulation. The purpose of the amendment is to bring the local regulation to meet the Massachusetts state law and regulation in restricting the sale of tobacco and vape products. Proposed policies in the draft regulation include but are not limited to capping the number of local tobacco sales permits issued.

BID/Roof Replacement Project LEGAL NOTICE Section 00.11.00 ADVERTISEMENT TO BID The Franklin Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for Roof Replacement Project the Elderly 667-02 Central Park Terrace for the Franklin Housing Authority in Franklin, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Russo Barr Associates, Inc. a Division of SOCOTEC. The Project consists of: Replacement of steep sloped asphalt shingle roofing, for six (6) buildings in the development, utilizing a ‘tear-off' application. New architectural asphalt shingles are to be installed, insulation is to be blown into the attic spaces over the existing insulation to achieve a minimum R-49. The work is estimated to cost $ 236,153.00 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.
