According to Boston25 crime reporter Bob Ward, who did his first report on missing Franklin 15-year-old, Jazlyn Rodrigues, "On Tuesday, police dogs and detectives searched the woods behind Jazlyn’s apartment complex because surveillance video showed her walking along the tree line last Tuesday night.
“We are tracking down everything we can, looking at every different angle, and as of right now we don’t have any information pointing towards any criminal activity related to this incident,” Chief Thomas J. Lynch said.
Franklin Police also posted on Facebook Tuesday evening:
It’s important to note that, like criminal investigations, step-by-step details into the investigation into locating Jazlyn’s whereabouts are not being routinely shared with the public via social media. Doing so would only hinder the Detective’s investigation. A great deal of time and resources have been used to attempt to locate Jazlyn in conjunction with the Jazlyn’s family.
