Milford Regional Medical Center’s Mélange 2023 Gala and Live Auction—“Scaling New Heights”—raised a record-breaking $1.2 million. The fundraiser was held at The Park Sports Center in Milford and attended by approximately 400 Milford area business and community leaders, sponsors, friends and supporters of the hospital.

The Mélange Gala is the signature fundraiser for Milford Regional and has been providing crucial funds needed to support the most immediate needs of the hospital since 2005.

“I can’t emphasize enough the tremendous impact the Mélange Gala and Live Auction continues to have on our hospital year after year,” said Milford Regional Medical Center President and CEO Edward J. Kelly. “This remarkable evening brings together hundreds of colleagues, families and friends who all share the same selfless goal of helping to continue and grow our hospital to advance our mission.”

The Mélange 2023 Gala and Live Auction was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Clark, Dr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Hopkins, Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Orlandi and the Tinio Family. The live auction portion of the evening was hosted by auctioneer Harry Santa-Olalla and included several high-ticket bid items including trips to Tuscany, Portugal and Ireland, as well as season tickets to the New England Patriots and a luxury box for either a Bruins or Celtics game.

Pledges were also accepted to support the “Fund-a-Need” portion of the auction, which will support the purchase of cutting-edge imaging technology for the operating room.

“Every year, I am in awe of our community’s unwavering support for our hospital,” said Milford Regional Vice President of Philanthropy Emily Quinn. “Our Mélange donors and supporters are champions of Milford Regional who so generously helped raise an unprecedented level of funding this year that will go on to positively affect the lives of so many we care for in our service region.”
