Porchfests Begin in MA, Franklin Porchfest Finalizing for June 1

Porchfest, an outdoor music event  on Saturday, June 1st in Franklin, from 12:00pm to 6:00pm with a rain date of June 2nd, is in the final stages of determining event details.

And statewide, similar events are beginning, with the first in Somerville on Saturday, May 11.
Somerville has been holding its own porchfest since 2011. Malden and Watertown  follow on May 18.

Franklin shares June 1 with Medford, Newton and Dorchester.

According to the Franklin Porchfest Committee, the band/performance registration for Franklin PorchFest is now closed. The PorchFest committee is currently working to match performers with porches and schedule performances times. The porch locations and performance times are scheduled to be released before May 15, 2024 and include the 'porch' of the Franklin Historical Museum at 80 West Central Stree, which will include two classical ensembles.
