LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF FRANKLIN TOWN COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC PROCEEDING REGARDING THE RENEWAL OF CABLE TELEVISION LICENSE OF VERIZON NEW ENGLAND INC. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. Council Chambers of the Franklin Municipal Building 355 East Central Street (This Hearing Will Also Be Available Remotely) The Franklin Town Council, as the Cable Television License Issuing Authority for the Town of Franklin will hold a Public Hearing regarding a Renewal Cable Television License for Verizon New England Inc. The hearing will be held during the Town Council's public meeting on June 5, 2024 beginning at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building (355 East Central Street), and will be available remotely for participation and/or viewing via the Zoom platform. Residents can visit the Town Website (Franklinma.gov) on or after Friday, May 31, 2024 and click on the Town Calendar for up-to-date information on how to remotely access the meeting. LEGAL NOTICE Invitation for Bids (IFB) TOWN OF FRANKLIN In accordance with MGL c. 30, section 39m, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a firm for the purposes of providing preventative maintenance and on-call repair of generators located at the Town's Water Wells, Booster Stations, and Sewer Stations. This contract will incorporate a line item repair rate, as well as emergency repair services. RFP/WATER TESTING ANALYSIS CONTRACTOR LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF FRANKLIN In accordance with M.G.L. 30(B), section (6), it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to obtain services from a qualified Water Testing and Analysis Contractor. Project: The Town routinely performs 63 plant tap and raw water coliform samples and 45 distribution coliform samples monthly. In addition, the Town performs water tests as required by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) Sampling Schedule. The contractor will be required to perform all testing and submit all results to the Town of Franklin as stated/identified in the proposal documentation.
