Regina A. Carfora, 70, of Upton and former resident of Franklin, passed away Saturday August 17, 2024 after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family. Regina was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 15, 1954 to the late William and Lillian Harris.

Regina married her husband of 41 years, Neil Carfora, on April 15, 1983 in Brooklyn, NY. They moved to Franklin, MA in 1996 until they retired to Sunset Beach, NC in 2010 where they spent 10 years by the beach. They returned to Massachusetts in 2020 to be closer to their grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Neil Carfora and her two children, twins, Jessica Salvucci and her husband Joseph Salvucci of Franklin and Matthew Carfora and his wife Audrey Carfora of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Her children were her entire world and they are blessed to have had her as their mother.

Regina is also survived by her two loving step children, Neil Carfora and his wife Annie Carfora of Plainview, NY and Dawn Carfora of Ridgewood, NJ and their children Justin Carfora, Ryan Carfora and James Carfora.

Regina was the youngest of 4 children. She leaves behind her sister Barbara Denniston and husband Charlie Denniston; brother Daniel Harris and his wife Diane Harris; and sister in law Linda Harris. She is preceded in death by her brother, William Harris.

Regina will be greatly missed by her 2 loving grandchildren who she adored, Mason, 6 and Madelyn, 3. In the years that she battled cancer they are what kept her going everyday and what put a smile on her face.

Regina was a special person who made friends with everyone she met. She spent her life taking care of the people she loved. She was the smartest person in the room and was a Jeopardy expert. She loved going on cruises, spending a night at the casino, doing a crossword puzzle, drinking a glass of red wine, and being surrounded by family and friends.

Though she has passed on, her light will forever shine in our hearts. We will remember her laughter, her comforting words, and the countless ways she made our world a better place. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend that anyone could ask for and she will be missed by many for a very, very long time.
