Marilyn J. Pulito, 78, of Medway and formerly of Holliston, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Marion (Guilfoyle) and Joseph R. Sheehan. She was the wife of 53 years to Alan Pulito.
Marilyn’s passion for skiing led to a significant chapter in her life when she met her future husband, Alan, at Killington Ski Resort in Vermont. Their meeting on the slopes began a lifelong partnership filled with love and adventure. Marilyn took pleasure in traveling and her love of travel inspired her to open her own villa rental company, Villas in Paradise. Her travels frequently took her to St. Maarten, where she cherished time at her villa that they owned for 25 years. She enjoyed painting and competitive tennis. Marilyn also found joy in her pets and valued every moment with her family.
Besides her husband, Marilyn is survived by two sons, Christopher Pulito of Fayetteville, NY, and Brett Pulito of Blackstone, MA; her siblings, Diane Moscinni and her husband, Michael of Ashland, MA; two grandchildren, Brianna and Chase Pulito; her niece, Corrine LaPorte and her husband, Michael, and her two nephews, Andrew Sheehan and Keith Foster. She is predeceased by her brother, Richard Sheehan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. It will be followed at 7:30pm by a Celebration of Life at Restaurant 45, 45 Milford St. Medway, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org, or to Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org
