MEDWAY: David F. Moore
David F. Moore, born on August 14, 1939, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2024, surrounded by family. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, David's life was marked by the deep connections he made with those around him.
David grew up in Watertown, Massachusetts, where he developed a love for the community that would stay with him throughout his life.
A forty-six-year resident of Medway, David was known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering loyalty to his loved ones.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Moore, with whom he shared fifty-seven years of marriage. David was a proud father to his three children: Pamela Smith (married to Darren), Robert Moore (married to Melissa), and Paul Moore (married to Courtney). He cherished every moment spent with his five grandchildren (Molly, Emily, Caitlin, Meredith, and Andrew), who brought him immense joy and pride.
Dave valued his time with family and friends, whether it was playing cards, walking the golf course, or cheering on his favorite Boston sports teams. He loved opening the pool each summer for neighborhood families to enjoy and he could hold court with tales of his golf game, jokes, and how to give a proper handshake.
His love for helping people and being surrounded by loved ones has created countless memories that will be cherished by those who knew him.
A celebration of David's life will be held at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com 3 Barber Street , Medway on Thursday, September 12, from 4:00 – 7:00p.m.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 13 in St. Joseph Church, Medway at 10:00a.m.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.

David's warmth, generosity, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
