John C. Cugini, 64
John C. Cugini, 64, (pictured above) of Sierra Vista, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at his home.
Born in Newton on August 20, 1960, he was the son of the late John R. and Rose Ann (Trenchera) Cugini.
John grew up in Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1978. He had resided in Newtonville for 18 years until moving to Sierra Vista, Arizona a year ago.
John had worked as a logistic manager at Phoenix Controls in Acton for many years.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Tombstone, Arizona and the Franklin Elks Lodge.
John had a passion for woodworking and cabinetry. He also took great pleasure in collecting and restoring antique furniture.
John loved to cook holiday meals for his family and friends.
He is survived by his brother Daniel Cugini of Taunton and his sister Rosemarie Cugini of Bellingham.
He was a fun loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, Nicholas and Stephen Cugini and Alicia and Jessica Coady.
He is also survived by his good friend Bill Carlson and his wife Jackie Champagne of Arizona, and his beloved dog Jimmy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass on Monday, October 14 at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village Street in Medway at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Streer in Medway

Christopher Louis Bingham, 47
Christopher Louis Bingham, 47, of Franklin died October 8 at his home following a long illness. He was the husband of Danielle C. (Lanzillo) Bingham for the past 15 years.
Born in Norwood, December 3,1976, the son of Louis Bingham of Attleboro and the late Eleanor (Sebad) Bingham, Christopher was raised in Norwood and had lived in Franklin for the past twelve years.
Christopher was a graduate of Norwood High School.
He had been a manager for Roche Brothers Supermarkets for many years.
Christopher enjoyed golf, listening to Elvis Presley, going to Red Sox games at Fenway Park and watching his children play in their sporting activities.
In addition to his wife and father he is survived by his children, Christopher and Zoe Bingham of Franklin.
He is also survived by his sister Amanda Bingham of Norwood.
A celebration of Christopher's life will be held on Monday,October 14 from 2-5 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
