UMass Memorial-Milford Regional to Offer CPR, Basic Life Support Classes

Memorial Health - Milford Regional Medical Center is offering
in-person CPR and Basic Life Support classes for the
community. Heartsaver
CPR AED
and
introductory Basic
Life Support (BLS) CPR
certification
programs are being offered at the hospital in November and April.

Heartsaver
CPR AED

This
course teaches adult, infant, and child CPR and AED use, as well as
how to relieve choking on adults, infants and children. It is
designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a
course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or
other requirements. A course manual and one-way valve mask is
included in the fee and will be provided to you at the beginning of
class. The course completion card is sent via email.

Thursday, November 7, 2024 or Tuesday, April 8, 2025

Basic
Life Support CPR

This
introductory course is intended for initial providers only who are in
the healthcare profession, or anyone who is required to complete a
healthcare provider-level course for employment. A course completion
card is awarded via email to those who successfully complete the
course, including the written examination and skills demonstration.
The fee includes the course manual and a one-way valve mask.
