The fact disclosed by a survey of the past that majorities have been wrong must not blind us to the complementary fact that majorities have usually not been entirely wrong.

--Herbert Spencer, English Philosopher, 1820-1903

The results are in from the Franklin Observer poll about reader thinking with regard to the Franklin Police Station Project and, in general, they don't like it...In fact, approximately 90 percent do not believe it should be funded at all. In fairness, the sample size is relatively small, more than 1100 opened the survey and more than 450 completed it and the way questions are asked can affect responses, etc. In other words, this isn't the last word on the subject.
