John “Jack” Eli Alexander, Jr., 75, of Franklin, MA, died April 1st, 2025.
Jack was born on December 5th, 1949 to John and Elsie Alexander, in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. He spent his early childhood in Boston, MA and then lived in various places in Connecticut. He met his wife Dianne (Boyle) Alexander in Medway, MA, Married in 1971, and settled down in Franklin, MA.
Jack was a proud father of Tammy Lynn (Alexander) Moran, Rebekah (Becky Alexander) Puleo, and Matthew Alexander. Grandfather to Michael, Jessy, Vincent, James, Briana, Bailey, Isabella, Pasquale & Makensie. Great Grandfather to Brayden, Lilith, Eislyn, Braelynn, J.J., Owen, and Karsen.
Jack had many other family members and friends, most notable being his late sister Sandy (Alexander) Spear, and his brother Wayne Alexander of CT.
Jack was a Vietnam War Veteran and suffered complications due to Agent Orange. Jack went to Seminary School in New Hampshire in 1974-1975. He was assistant pastor at Calvary Temple and his “Day Job” was as a truck driver, to include many years at Counterwerks in Franklin, MA, and Millis Used Auto Parts in Millis, MA.
Jack enjoyed fishing the most. He loved singing and enjoyed dancing. He was self-proclaimed to be a “Jack of all trades and master of none” to include welding, plumbing, electrical work, anything he could fix or build. He found value in broken items and took on the challenge to fix it! He loved the flea market and all things at a bargain. He could get a $20 item for $5. Jack will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are inviteed to attend calling hours on Friday, April 4 from 4– 7 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street in Franklin ginleyfuneralhomes.com
Burial will take place privately at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
