FRANKLIN: Denise A. Barnhart-Dowling

Denise A. Barnhart-Dowling, of Franklin, MA (formerly of Foxborough, MA) passed away peacefully on the evening of May 16, 2025, surrounded by her daughters. Her final moments were filled with love, warmth, and comfort.

Daughter of Charles H. and Anna Marie (Ems) Barnhart, born on December 19, 1964. Denise was raised in Sharon, MA with 5 siblings and was a graduate of Sharon High School Class of '83. She built a long and successful career as an executive at TricorBraun. Later, she chose to retire early to focus on what mattered most to her-being present for her children. Her devotion as a mother became the foundation of her days and the heart of her life. She was a steady, loving presence-both at work and at home-and touched the lives of many through her kindness, wisdom, and calm strength.

She is survived by her beloved children; Shannon Dowling of Foxborough, MA, Brooke Munafo of Blackstone, MA, Nicholas Dowling of Foxborough, MA, Jessica Dowling of Franklin, TN and Jonathan Dowling of Cane Ridge, TN. Can't forget her tail wagging grandpups, Willow, Rue and GG. All who will carry her legacy forward with deep love and enduring pride. Her guidance, grace, and unconditional love will remain with them always.

Denise's love and spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Denise's honor to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, May, 22 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough. The family requests people attending wear fun, elegant, chic fashionable attire! Think colors, florals, or patterns. Interment will be at a later date.
