PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE FORMER NU-STYLE JEWELRY FACTORY ANALYSIS OF BROWNFIELDS CLEANUP ALTERNATIVES PLAN 21 GROVE STREET, FRANKLIN, MASSACHUSETTS The Town of Franklin will be conducting a public meeting on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 6:00 PM to review the Draft Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) that is being submitted to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) to conduct cleanup activities at the former Nu-Style Jewelry Factory Property located at 21 Grove Street in Franklin, Massachusetts. The Draft ABCA will be available from 8:00 AM on May 30, 2025 to 4:00 PM on June 30, 2025 online at Brownfields Redevelopment | Franklin, MA, and a hard copy will be available at the Franklin Town Hall at 355 East Central St, Franklin, Massachusetts during normal business hours. The public meeting will provide an opportunity to learn more and ask questions about the proposed cleanup plan for the former Nu-Style site. 731 King Street Legal Notice Town of Franklin Conservation Commission Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Ch. 131, s.40 (Wetlands Protection Act), the Franklin Conservation Commission will hold a Hybrid Public Hearing on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 7:06 PM for an Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation (ANRAD) filed by Steve Dexter of Colonial Engineering, Medway, MA on behalf of Virginia Dellorco, Franklin, MA. The ANRAD serves to determine the boundaries of Bordering Vegetated Wetlands (BVW), as well as the 100-foot Buffer Zone to Bordering Vegetated Wetlands. The Project is located at 731 King Street, Map 313, Lot 43, within the Single Family III Zone. The hearing will provide an open forum for the discussion. This meeting will be done remotely via the “ZOOM” platform and “In-person” in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 355 East Central Street.
