Strawberry Stroll at the Franklin Historical Museum

Above, Diane Cleaves, Franklin Historical Museum volunteer, Jan Prentice, Historical Commission member, and Patricia Prewitt of the Franklin United Methodist Church (FUMC) ham it up while modeling clothes from the FUMC Community Closet next door at 82 East Central Street, during Friday's Strawberry Stroll event. The Museum was also hosting a gallery show of the Franklin Art Association, and, at 4 o'clock sharp held a ribbon cutting for the new "Strawberry Patch," a small addition to the colorful downtown that reminds visitors of Franklin vibrant agricultural history with a small raised bed of real strawberries!  Below, from left, Historical Commission members Paul Pisani, Alan Earls, Phyllis Malcolm and Randy LaRosa (partially obscured) look on while Rockland Trust Office Brandon Carrico (an associate member of the Commission) does the official ribbon cutting duties.
