On June 18, Old Colony Habitat for Humanity hosted a groundbreaking ceremony at the former South Franklin congregational meeting house, located at 762 Washington St., Franklin. The celebration was the beginning of the buildings transformation into a 2128 square-foot single-family home.
Connell Roofing says it is proud to donate a new roof to Franklin’s historic Old South Meeting House as part of a community effort led by Habitat for Humanity. "This iconic landmark deserves to be preserved—and we’re honored to help protect its legacy," the company said in a press release. Habitat for Humanity is also calling on other local contractors to join this meaningful project and come together to make a lasting impact.
