This Boomer is No Baby!

Dean College has a new landmark, a giant bulldog!  Boomer was purchased by the College in 2024 and installed this past spring. Standing six feet tall and made of brass/bronze, the statue is located between the school's visitor parking lot and student center, intentionally placed as a fun and welcoming landmark for prospective students and campus visitors. "We’re hopeful it will become a popular photo spot for prospective students and their families, current students, alumni, and our faculty and staff for years to come," noted a school spokesperson. The image is of a group of students during one of the school's orientation sessions this summer.
