BIDS/Lawn Mower Surplus LEGAL NOTICE Surplus Lawn Mower For Sale Town of Franklin The Town of Franklin, MA is selling a used 2012 Toro Groundsmaster 4100-D lawn mower on the municipal auction website, Municibid (www.municibid.com – Auction# 76893684). The bid and photos will be listed on the Municibid website from 8/15/2025 until 8/29/2025 at 4:00 PM. The starting bid is $15,000.00. This mower has a Kubota Diesel engine and has been used for 2,514 hours. The mower was removed from service in the fall of 2024 due to age and hours. It has a cutting width of 10.3 feet and runs and mows. It has been used by the Town's Parks Department for routine maintenance of parks and fields. The mower is being sold as is with no warranty implied or otherwise. An appointment can be made to inspect the lawnmower by calling 508-553-5549. Winning bidder will sign a non-collusion statement (per MGL c.30B), as well as a bill of sale. Payment will be made to the Town of Franklin in the form of cash, cashier's check, bank check or money order. Lot 2 Forge Parkway Legal Notice Town of Franklin Conservation Commission Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Ch. 131, s.40 (Wetlands Protection Act), the Franklin Conservation Commission will hold a Hybrid Public Hearing on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 7:07 PM on a Notice of Intent filed by Richard Goodreau of United Consultants, Inc., Wrentham, MA on behalf of Camford Property Group, Inc. Franklin, MA, for the construction of an office and warehouse building, along with associated utilities, stormwater management, landscaping, and retaining walls. Approximately 22,332 square feet (sf) of proposed work is within the 100-foot Buffer Zone to Bordering Vegetated Wetlands (BVW), of which approximately 5,061 sf of proposed work is within the 25- to 50-foot Buffer Zone to BVW and approximately 17,271 sf is proposed within the 50- to 100-foot Buffer Zone to BVW. The Project is located at Lot 2 Forge Parkway, Map 272, Lot 001, within the Business Zoning District. The hearing will provide an open forum for the discussion. This meeting will be done remotely via the “ZOOM” platform and “In-person” in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 355 East Central Street.
