Nearly 60 Massachusetts beaches were off limits to swimming as of Wednesday morning, while the entire coastline was under a high surf and rip current alert as Hurricane Erin moved its way up off the Atlantic shoreline. While the storm will pass hundreds of miles out to sea, Erin will bring wave heights of 7 to 10 feet above average to many coastal areas, with some seeing waves 12 feet or higher.

Sprague of Village Street was arrested by Patrol Officers Ryan Kahn
and Emily Clark after a crash that damaged multiple mailboxes and a
utility pole was reported at about 1:30 a.m. near 250 Village Street
on Aug. 16. Police
located Sprague and identified him as the driver.
Just a handful of Mass. communities dominated a list of best middles chools in the state, according to a recent Stacker article, based on data from Niche. Four were in Brookline. Two were in Lexington and the other towns with a single top ranked middle shool were Lexington, Winchester, Wayland, Weston, and Belmont.
According to New England Fire News, a male at at Stanwood Dr. residence fell 20 feet from a ladder on Aug. 12. First responders found the victim bleeding from ears and unable to feel legs. Victim was medflighted from a hospital out of the Dean College athletic field on Maple St.
