Medway Police Ask Driver Caution During Weekend Events

A slew of events planned over the coming weekend -- Porchfest, Townwide Yard Sale, and Box Out Hunger -- means that few neighborhoods will escape without some impact...and hurried and frustrated drivers are a distinct possibility. That has prompted the release of the following statement from the Medway Police Department:

This is an Important Notice from the Medway Police Department about multiple events in the Town of Medway this Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025!

Town-wide yard sale - 65 home yard sales and 13 at the central location at 123 Holliston St. Porchfest - 2:00 pm-7:00 pm, many locations throughout town, with a significant event from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Medway Community Farm Box Out Hunger: Volunteers will be setting up food bins for donations throughout town on Saturday and Sunday, with a central location at the Medway Police station, 315 Village Street. 

Please drive carefully and be prepared for minor delays. Chief Kingsbury reports that we have had no significant traffic issues over the years with these events due to everyone taking their time and being patient. We expect nothing less this year.
