Medway Man in Armed Trio Arrested for RI Robbery Try

The Following Statement was issued by police in Glocester RI on Tuesday:

RE: Three arrested in connection to Restaurant Burglary in West Glocester

James Spader age 58 LKA: East Providence was arrested for (1) one count of Burglary, and (1) count of Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, and Larceny.

Thomas Manzo age 44 of Roberge Way Glocester was arrested for (1) one count of Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, and (4) four Counts of Possession of a High Capacity Feeding Device.

Danielle Wooding age 44 of Loveving Heights, Medway, Massachusetts was arrested for (1) one count of Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.

Early Monday morning, police were called to Mr. Z’s Pizza and Restaurant located on Putnam Pike West Glocester for an alarm and a possible suspect inside of the building.

Responding Officers were able to review security footage of the suspect in the building, and identified a second known possible subject who lived in the area.

Police conducted a traffic stop of an unregistered black pickup truck on Route 44 near the Connecticut state line containing three possible suspects. Subsequent investigation and search of the pickup truck and address at 4 Roberge way; Police seized evidence connected to the burglary, including over $400 in cash, liquor and 4 rifles including an AK-47 with high capacity feeding devices.

Manzo and Wooding were arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and released on $20,000 and $10,000 Personal Recognizance respectively.

James Spader was arraigned before a Justice of the Peace on the Burglary/Conspiracy charges and remanded to the ACI.

Spader has an extensive criminal record and was presented as a bail violator on a previous Breaking and Entering charge from East Providence Police 4/05/2025. He was formally arraigned on 10/14/2025 before Judge O’Neill of 3rd District Court and Held without bail with a scheduled hearing date set for 10/20/25.
