In a show of community support, Master Roof, a family-owned roofing company based in Milford, is donating and installing a lifetime-guaranteed GAF roofing system for the Daily Bread Food Pantry at 21 Exchange Street in Milford on Friday, November 1, 2025.
All roofing materials are being donated by GAF, and Master Roof is providing the labor at no cost, saving the nonprofit thousands in future repair and replacement expenses. Those savings will help the pantry continue its mission of providing food assistance to families across Milford, Hopedale, Upton, and other area communities.
"We wanted to give back in a way that truly lasts," said Wilson Valdez, the co-owner of Master Roof. "This new roof will protect the pantry for decades and allow them to focus their funds on feeding families, not fixing leaks."
Community members are invited to celebrate Community Roof Raising Day at the pantry on November 1, with a Tri County Regional Chamber Ribbon Cutting and Coffee at 7:30 a.m. and a Cookout from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food or monetary donations to help support the pantry’s growing needs.
