Celebrate Trails Day is a nationwide event coordinated by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. The RTC organization highlights the social, health, transportation, and economic benefits of connected trail networks across the United States. The Franklin-Bellingham Rail Trail Committee (FBRTC) will host a local celebration on April 25, 2026, aligned with national messaging and a SNETT Trail walk while emphasizing Franklin’s unique railroad heritage and the future economic and civic value of the Southern New England Trunkline Trail (SNETT).
