Heritage on Main is an ambitious proposal to redevelop a 21.1-acre site on Route 109 with a mix of residential and commercial properties. The site extends along Main Street (Route 109) from the former Mobil fueling station to Elm Street. The proposal includes a four-story apartment building with 267 residential units, with indoor and outdoor amenities, and three standalone commercial properties which include a bank, a restaurant equipped with a drive-through lane, and a redeveloped fueling station and general store.

The Planning and Economic Development Board will hold its meeting as scheduled on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
Please
note, the Applicant has requested a continuance to the meeting
scheduled for Tuesday, August 11 in order to provide their project team
more time to respond to public and peer review comments. Should the
Planning and Economic Development Board vote to grant the continuance,
no testimony will be received at the July 14 meeting for the Heritage on
Main project. Testimony from the traffic consultants is anticipated at
the August 11 meeting.
All other items on the agenda for the July 14 meeting are expected to proceed as scheduled.
