Elizabeth “Beth” C. Anzivino of Franklin passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Benchmark of Forge Hill in Franklin. She was 88 years old.
Born in Boston, MA, in 1938 to the late Frank and Elizabeth Cusumano, Beth was a longtime resident of Needham. She attended Needham Public Schools until her senior year, when her family relocated to Wayland. She went on to pursue her passion for art and learning at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, followed by the University of Florida.
Beth returned to Needham after marrying her beloved husband, the late Leonard “Lenny” Anzivino, in the 1960s. She worked at Calvert's through the 1970s and 80s until its closure in the 1990s. She later served as a receptionist at Imagitas and DRA Architects before retiring to dedicate her time to caring for her cherished grandchildren.
A woman with many creative talents and passions, Beth enjoyed crocheting, working with ceramics, and immersing herself in a good book. She especially cherished time spent vacationing along the coasts of Maine and Cape Cod.
Beth was the loving wife of the late Leonard “Lenny” Anzivino. She was the devoted mother of Scott A. Anzivino and his wife Lauren of Franklin, Diane E. Anzivino of Sitka, AK, and Pamela L. Hofstra and her husband Mark of Franklin. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael Anzivino, Sean and Erin Climo, and Benjamin and Elizabeth Hofstra. Beth is also survived by her two loving sisters, Ellie Litchfield of NH and Debbie Stoetzer of GA.
Services will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Friday, October 16th at a time to be determined, followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Needham.
