Harold Lynch, 87, of Medway died August 26 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital , Boston following a long illness. He was the husband of Patricia H. (Dube) Lynch for the past 63 years.
Born in Cambridge, February 24,1939, the son of the late John and Barbarba (Tucker) Lynch, Harold was a lifelong Medway resident.
Harry was a graduate of Medway High School.
Harry had been the owner of Harry’s Heating and Plumbing Company in Medway and also the owner of HR Oil Company in Medway.
Harry had served on the Medway Fire Department retiring as Assistant Chief.
Harry served in the Marine Corps during the late 1950’s, attaining the rank of Lance Corporal.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Harold Lynch, Jr. of Bridgeton, Maine and Joseph Lynch of Medway.
He was the brother of the late Margaret Joanis and Barbara Koch.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jacob, Jeremiah, Daniel , David Lynch and Nathan.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 1 in St. Joseph Church at 11:00a.m.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-7 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley
