In their August Newsletter, the SAFE coalition has announced the launch of their second community diaper bank now open in Springfield! Families complete a short form to request diapers and wipes. No barriers, only access.
Looking for a group or community service project?
A diaper drive is an exciting, easy way to support your community. Our new diaper bank received diaper requests for 142 children on opening day! We could use your help.
Drives work about anywhere people already gather: an office, a classroom, a gym, a salon, a congregation, a book club, a Scouts troop. Some families ask guests to bring a pack to a baby shower or a birthday party instead of a gift. There are no rules to follow. Pick something that fits your life and set your dates. Email info@safecoalitionma.org to get started.
Other ways to pitch in
Give diapers. Any size, any brand. Opened packages are welcome too, since we repackage them. Wipes should be unopened. Email info@safecoalitionma.org and we will set up a drop-off in Springfield or Franklin.
Shop our Amazon wish list. Purchase through our list and they’ll ship straight to our diaper bank.
Donate and we will use the funds to buy the most needed sizes. Put "Springfield Diapers" in the dedication field.
A HUGE thank you to:
Springfield Public Schools and the Home City Families program, for giving us a home for this. Their team packs the orders and greets families at pickup, on top of everything else they already do.
The Beveridge Family Foundation, for helping make our work in Springfield possible.
