September 15, 2026 “Setting the Record Straight” Norfolk County Director John J. Cronin drafted a “Dear Appointing Authority” letter that was revised. A “Dear Appointing Authority” letter dated June 24, 2026 evidently was distributed to elected officials that manage each of the 28 communities that make up Norfolk County sometime in July of 2026. This “Dear Appointing Authority” letter was signed by the Chair of the Norfolk County Commissioners former Quincy City Clerk Joseph Shea, County Director John J. Cronin who does not even live in Norfolk County and the Chair of the Norfolk County Advisory Board Eric Beckerman of Avon. In the interests of transparency and good government I am sending out to you my letter of response dated August 19, 2026. The Norfolk County Commissioners and County Director John J. Cronin have made and continue to make poor decisions and waste the taxpayer monies. · My original Quincy Sun letter titled "Take A Closer Look at Norfolk County General Government" · Mass Lawyers Weekly article about win court in 2025 has links to 10-1-25 and 6-28-24 Court Rulings I also attached 3 viewable clips to my letter which were: · 6-minute clip of Register O’Donnell testifying at the State House in support of House Bill 3971 · 6‑minute conversation on the Registry lawsuits with host Mark Crosby on Quincy Access Television · 7‑minute segment on The Kevin Broderick Show I am also sharing with you a letter that I sent to the State Representatives and State Senators regarding this matter. · Link to 8-25-26 letter to state lawmakers Sincerely yours, |
