The Senior Expo was held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Franklin Senior Center featuring more than 40 vendors, a vaccination clinic, giveaways and raffles, as well as ive entertainment, snacks and refreshments.
During the event, the Stella Jeon Silver Spirit Award was presented to Colette Ferguson, as a senior who has demonstrated outstanding community spirit over the past year. Working entirely on a pro bono basis, Ferguson took over operation of the Ben's Bounty resale store at the Senior Center, which had operated for many years, and increased sales by several times, turning it into an operation that is an important contributor to senior center operations.
