MEDWAY: David L. Condon

David Lowell Condon, 87, of West Medway, MA, died peacefully on September 28, 2026, after a short illness.

He was born in Boston on November 1, 1938. He was the son of the late Jeff and Arline Condon and graduated from Medway High School. Dave served in the U.S. Army, in Germany, from 1956-1959

Dave stayed in touch with many of his high school classmates, attending most of the Annual Reunions.

“Diesel Dave” could always be found at the local car dealership/ repair shop, so it was no surprise when he chose Truck Driving as a career. He traveled all over this country. Later on, he drove construction trucks locally. Dave was a proud member of the Teamster’s Local 494.

Nobody’s pet dog ever went hungry either!

Dave was a loyal friend, especially to Newt, Flo, Tara and her daughter Sam. They made strong bonds and enriched each other’s lives.

Dave was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his sister Jean, who lives in Newport, VT.

“He was a good man and called me every week for many years.”

At Dave’s request, there will be only a private burial at a later date.

His wish for any remembrance was to help a veteran in some way.
