Lincoln Street Reads!

Heather Adams, a third grade teacher at Franklin's Lincoln Street School (pictured below), organized the first ever Community Reading Party. Students were challenged to read "Save Me A Seat" by Gita Varadarajan with their siblings, friends or parents. Families celebrated on Wednesday evening October 21 at school with games, crafts, activities, kindness cards and even cricket lessons from Stathish Kumar Mahendran, a local cricket player and Lincoln Street parent. Caleigh Keating from the Franklin Public Library came to help students check out books.
