Invitation for Bids (IFB)

TOWN OF FRANKLIN

In accordance with MGL c. 30 section 39m, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a construction firm for the purposes of upgrades to two existing sewer ejector stations, one being an additive alternate, all in the Town of Franklin.

Project: The work to be performed will include replacement of 150 gallon duplex electrode controlled pneumatic type ejector systems at the Sahlin Circle Pump Station and 75 gallon duplex electrode controlled pneumatic type ejector systems at the Monterey Drive Pump Station, with other incidental work as required. Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract unit bid prices, which shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, etc., required to satisfactorily complete the work.

FRANKLIN PLANNING BOARD

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

In accordance with the Town of Franklin Zoning By-Laws, the Franklin Planning Board will hold a Remote and in the Town Council Chambers at the Town Hall for a public hearing on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 7:10 PM for a Definitive Subdivision Plan located at 725 Summer Street in Franklin, MA prepared by Guerriere and Halnon, Inc. and submitted to the Department of Planning and Community Development, by Kyle McNarmara, 418 Old River road, Lincoln, RI.

The property is located in the Rural Residential I Zoning District (Assessors Map 315 Lot 027) on Summer Street. The applicant is proposing to construct a 5 lot subdivision, including a drainage lot along with a new roadway, landscaping and drainage.

In accordance with the Town of Franklin Zoning By-Laws, the Franklin Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 7:05 PM Remotely and in the Town Council Chambers of the Franklin Municipal Building, 355 East Central Street, for a Site Plan Modification application at 176-210 Grove Street in Franklin, MA prepared by Kelly Engineering, Braintree, MA, Inc. and submitted to the Department of Planning and Community Development, by MCP III 176 Grove LLC and MCP III 210 Grove LLC, Marcus Partners.

The property is located in the Industrial Zoning District (Assessors Map 311 Lots 001 and 002) on Grove Street. The applicant is proposing to add additional parking with 26,000 sq/ft of impervious area.
