Invitation for Bids (IFB)

TOWN OF FRANKLIN

In accordance with MGL c. 30 section 39m, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a catch basin cleaning company for the purposes of cleaning and inspecting all town-owned catch basins, all of which are located within the Town of Franklin.

Project: The work to be performed will include removing all deposited material from town-owned catch basins, collecting and logging relevant data, hauling the collected materials to the stockyard, with other incidental work as required. Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract unit bid prices, which shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, etc., required to satisfactorily complete the work.

Estimated Cost: Est. $150,000

Location: Various catch basins as noted

Project Date: Fall, 2021

and to all persons entitled to the benefit of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, 50 U.S.C. c. 50 § 3901 et seq.?: Reverse Mortgage Funding LLC claiming to have an interest in a Mortgage covering real property in Franklin, numbered 14 Danforth Way, Unit 20A, Forge Hill Condominium, given by Elizabeth J. Prins to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as Nominee for Reverse Mortgage Funding LLC, dated January 13, 2020, and recorded or filed in Norfolk County Registry District of the Land Court as Document No. 1441520, and noted on Certificate of Title C89-383, and now held by Plaintiff by assignment, has/have filed with this court a complaint for determination of Defendant's/Defendants' Servicemembers status.

If you now are, or recently have been, in the active military service of the United States of America, then you may be entitled to the benefits of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. If you object to a foreclosure of the above-mentioned property on that basis, then you or your attorney must file a written appearance and answer in this court at Three Pemberton Square, Boston, MA 02108 on or before 10/18/2021 or you may lose the opportunity to challenge the foreclosure on the ground of noncompliance with the Act.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

In accordance with the Town of Franklin Zoning By-Laws, the Franklin Planning Board will hold a Remote and in the Town Council Chambers at the Town Hall for a public hearing on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 7:10 PM for a Definitive Subdivision Modification Plan located at 55 Coutu Street in Franklin, MA prepared by United Consultants, Inc. and submitted to the Department of Planning and Community Development, by James and Beth Colace, 55 Coutu Street, Franklin MA.

The property is located in the Single Family III Zoning District (Assessors Map 340 Lot 031-002) on Coutu Street. The applicant is proposing to allow the previous Lot 1 to be subdivided into 2 lots, creating a buildable lot. No change to the roadway or utilities is proposed.
