Franklin is growing and changing. A chart-rich site, unfortunately not dated, offers an intriguing look at data, probably derived from regularly issues US Census Department estimates, that provide a portrait of our community.
The 24/7WallSt web site offers up the sobering observation that we are old. "The population of Franklin Town is older than the United States as a whole. The median age is 40.7 years, 2.8 years more than the national median age of 37.9 years." On the other hand, "n estimated 11.90% of the population is 65 years and over, compared to 15.2% of the U.S. population."
And, multi-ethnic (see chart above) with 88.60% of residents identifying as white.

And this, from Census data received by the town (2019 numbers): there are 92.9 males per 100 females in our community.
