"Codcast" Features Rep Roy on Wind Policies

It’s something Commonwealth Editor Bruck Mohl called “The great offshore wind debate,” covered currently on the website.... And Franklin State Rep. Jeff Roy is one of the more vocal participants in the debate.

Mohl explains that the growth in offshore wind developments has been paralleled by evolving views on whether economic development (in other words, wind-related jobs) should be prioritized or lower rates to help consumers and existing businesses. The latter had been the drift of policy in Massachusetts, with Governor Baker joining those who advocated for wind energy price caps. But now Baker has shifted.
