  • There was reportedly a $100,000 prize won or claimed on Monday at a 7-ELEVEN in Franklin. The prize came from the game Massachusetts Millionaires’ Club.
  • Marcel R. Mandeville, 93, of Woonsocket, a long-time member of VFW Post 3402, Franklin, passed on April 29, 2022 at the Heritage Hills Nursing Center, Smithfield after a brief illness. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.
  • At Wednesday’s Town Council meeting Multiple Proclamation were offered in honor of Lincoln Street resident, Harriet DiMartino, who turned 100 years old in April. Present on her behalf were two sons. The Town Council presented a proclamation, read by Chair Tom Mercer. Rep. Jeff Roy read a similar proclamation recently read into the record of the legislative session and also delivered a certificate from Governor Charlie Baker on behalf of the people of the Commonwealth.
