Kathryn M. (Andrykes) Ripp, 66, of Franklin died Friday, May 6, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Joseph E. Ripp who died in1996.

Born at the Chelsea Naval Hospital on May 8, 1955, she was the daughter of Edward S. and Alice K. (Bernard) Andrykes of Medway.

Kathy grew up in Chelsea and resided in Medway for many years until moving to Franklin in 2004.

She had worked as a legal assistant most of her career with her last position at Mintz Levin, a prestigious Boston law firm, for 10 years.

Kathy enjoyed fashion and had great talent for sewing, quilting, crafting and making jewelry.

Besides her parents, she is survived by; her son Cory Ripp and his wife Ashley of Franklin and two sisters, Susan Gartside and her husband Bill of Medway and Ellen Lotufo and her husband Scott of Providence, Rhode Island.

She is also survived by three nephews, one niece, one great-niece and her beloved cats, Brady and Harper.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Wednesday, May 11 from 11 a.m. - noon in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral service at noon. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
