Peter G. Faenza passed away on Saturday, May 21st after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family & friends, he was sixty. Peter was the beloved son of the late Louis J. and Madeleine A. (Lange) Faenza.

Pete lived in Franklin his whole life, was a graduate of Franklin High School and attended Berklee School of Music, leaving before he graduated to seek employment with the Town of Franklin School Department. He worked for twenty-five years as a custodian and landscaper at Franklin High School.

An accomplished drummer, Pete played in several local bands in his younger years. Pete loved to fish and was a longtime member of the Franklin Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed New England sports, talk radio and the Three Stooges.

He loved to do crossword puzzles and word searches. He loved the outdoors, especially Vermont where he bought a piece of land and a small camp near his brother.

He is survived by his brother Paul, sister-in-law Brigid and nieces Alice & Mary.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Thursday May 26th, at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Franklin at 10AM. To view the Mass stmarysfranklin.org

Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.

Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7PM.
