Area Police Nab Suspect in Car Disablements

Within days of the first in a string of bizarre motor vehicle disablements, in the region, Milford police arrested a suspect Tuesday afternoon.

According to news reports, Alexander Yee was originally found on Saturday at the Milford Target lot attempting, he admitted, to put juice in a woman’s gas tank. Because he declined to turn himself in to face charges, Milford police sought and got an arrest warrant which was exercised at Yee’s home in Winchendon Tuesday afternoon.

In addition to Milford, Bellingham, Hopkinton, and Franklin had also posted warnings about the man and at one point the Franklin police department said he had been seen in Franklin.

While there were no reports of any injuries, the behavior involving letting air out of the car tires of younger women or contaminating their fuel supply was designed to disable the vehicle. Police said he then approach the victim and offer to help or to give them a ride.
