High Energy Strawberry Stroll Had its own Rhythm

Above, former State Senator, US Senator, and Ambassador, Scott Brown and 'the Diplomats' belted out hours of high-energy music that put bounce in the steps of Strawberry Strollers.

According the Lisa Piana, the post-pandemic 2022 Strawberry Stroll easily recapture the number of vendors seen in past years and, in fact, went into the event with a waiting list of half-a-dozen. And, as the crowds arrived in the late afternoon on Thursday, she was anticipating a strong turnout.

Many of the usual groups were there, plus the Metropolitan Area Planning Council promoting "Franklin for All" and State Senator Becca Rausch, running for reelection in the fall, and her Rival, Norfolk's Shawn Dooley, pressing the flesh and greeting supporters.

The set up for the event began around 2:30 and officially opened at 4, though many people were already circulating at that hour.  It wound down just before 8 as "The Diplomats" played their last numbers.

As noted, below, the event also included unveiling of the new Lady Bug Trail.
