BU Says Goodbye as Elmore Prepares to Take Helm at Dean

On June 22 BU celebrated longtime Terrier Kenneth Elmore (Wheelock’87) dean of students and associate provost, at a going away party at the Hotel Commonwealth. Elmore (left), who had been at BU for 37 years (after earning a law degree at New England Law, he left to practice law for a few years), will become president of Dean College, a small private school with 1,200 undergraduate students in Franklin, Mass., on July 1.
