Local Franklin girl breaks shutout record in soccer at University of Southern Maine. Bre Atwood the goal keeper for USM broke the shutout record of (19) held by HOF Samantha Whitman 1997-2000. Bre broke the record on October 1,2023 against Bates College. Bre’s record stands at (24)

Bre also claimed the single season shutout  (11) in 2022. Bre was also name Little East Conference Goalkeeper of the Year 2022

Bre Atwood is a 2020 graduate of Franklin High School.
