The Franklin Garden Club will sponsor a program on “Gardening with Drought Tolerant Plants” on Tuesday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. at the Franklin Senior Center, 10 Daniel McCahill Street, Franklin, MA. The program will be presented by noted horticulturist Warren P. Leach, co-owner of Tranquil Lake Nursery, Inc. in Rehoboth, MA. Leach will discuss the types of plants that are most likely to do well in dry, hot summers and also provide landscaping ideas as well as suggestions for maintaining and caring for these plants. The program is open to the public at no charge.
