Temple Etz-Chaim is hosting a special event Sunday evening, Dec. 11 at 7pm at 900 Washington Street: "A Conversation of Hope-- Black and Jewish Voices in Harmony."

“In light of recent events, Jamele Adams and I had a talk,” explained Rabbi Alpert. “We both decided that it was important to look at relations between the Jewish and Black communities, and of course, recognizing that there is overlap in that some people are both Black and Jewish,” he continued.

“We want to note both the difficulties and the strengths in these relationships and look toward greater understanding and shared commitment. Rabbi Elyse Winick will moderate our discussion,” Alpert said.

Although there is limited seating capacity at the Temple, Alpert noted that Franklin TV will be broadcasting and livestreaming the event.
