Joseph Anthony DiMarino, aka Joey of Attleboro, formerly of Franklin, passed away at home surrounded by his family and loved ones on December 26, 2022, at the age of 51. Joey was the recipient of a successful liver transplant, who had been battling health issues for many years, he wished to pass away at home and not in a hospital hooked up to machines. The son of Joseph Anthony DiMarino and Judith Ann DiMarino(formally McAuley, Joey is survived by his Aunts and Uncles, Joan Doherty, Donald McAuley, Marie Martin, John McAuley, Cousins Sean McAuley, Kate Pavlisko, Bob Martin, Jeanne Wallingford, Bob McAuley, Kathy, Karen, Michael Doherty, James, Linda, Dylan, Amy Friedman and many other relatives. Joey attended Franklin High and was a fantastic artist whose skills matched the likes of Disney, DC and Marvel. He loved films, comics, cartoons, collectables and pop culture in a variety of forms. He worked for Dennison Manufacturing Co and for years he helped interview and film celebrities at the Rhode Island Comic Con. His family and friends will miss his witty comical sense of humor, honesty as well as his warm heart and eagerness to give.
Joey DiMarino wished to be cremated with no wake or funeral, his ashes will be spread along with his Mother and Father. Thank you to Relatives and friends for the kind words and actions during this difficult time.
