Friday Fluke
Shortly after noon on Friday, a driver apparently ignored a warning sign indicating that tractor-trailers can't be accommodated at the Franklin Mobil station near the Village Mall. The result was that on attempting to exit down the relatively steep ramp, the rear of the trailer came in contact with the canopy. Route 140 eastbound from Grove Street to the Village Mall was closed for a few hours and a crane was brought in to help with the extrication. The 495 southbound on-ramp was also reportedly closed and all traffic was be detoured down Grove Street.
