Donald S. Ingersoll, 60

Donald S. Ingersoll, 60, of Franklin, MA passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at home unexpectedly after a brief illness. He is the beloved husband of the late Stephanie E. (Holst) Ingersoll. He is the loving father of Ashley J. Ingersoll of Blackstone, MA, Donald S. Ingersoll Jr. of Preston, CT and Jessie L. Morgan of Attleboro, MA. He leaves his cherished grandchildren, Destiny, Ray, Aidyn, Savannah, Isabella Maisy and Martie.

Donald was born in Winthrop, MA on November 19, 1962, the son of Evelyn (Goss) Lavallee and her husband, Dennis of Camden, SC, and his late father Fred L. Ingersoll Sr. He is the brother of Debra Cook and her husband, Kenny of Bellingham, MA, Fred Ingersoll of Bellingham, MA, Barbie Lavallee and her husband, Bruce of Woonsocket, RI, Rick Ingersoll of Woonsocket, RI, David Ingersoll and his wife, Kim of Bluffton, SC, Dan Ingersoll of New Jersey, and Cathy Ingersoll-Jacobs and her husband, Mike of Blackstone, MA, and many nieces and nephews.

Donald was a resident of Franklin, formerly of Bellingham. He was a graduate of Bellingham High School. He worked for Van Lumber for over 20 years.

He loved his Harley, Friday night horseshoes and sports. He also loved music especially the song “Turn the page” by Bob Seger. He cherished his late dog Coco she was his constant companion. He especially loved his grandchildren and attending their sporting events. He will be greatly missed by all.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 5th at Cartier’s Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA from 5PM to 7PM with a Prayer Service at 7PM.
