The Franklin Health Department sponsored a Restaurant Expo at the Franklin Public Library on Wednesday September 27 from 2-5 pm. The Franklin Restaurant Expo was designed to appeal to restaurant owners, chefs, managers and others in the area’s culinary and hospitality fields, to help them find innovative solutions and ingredients, products, and services to improve their own offerings. The event was free to exhibitors and attendees alike.
According to Cassia Monteiro, Regional Epidemiologist, Metacomet Public Health Alliance, who organized the event, there were about 16 exhibitors including:
Peter W. Carlson of Wright’s, a Franklin resident though his company is in Walpole, was pleased with the event. And, though mid-afternoon got a bit quiet, Joe Gagliard of TriMark was also happy to be out and visible, noting that his company provides “anything a restaurant needs except the food.”
